Governor Ademola Adeleke has inaugurated the Dr Fish 90.1 FM in Plateau state, Nigeria.
The Governor, who was ably represented at the event by his Special Adviser, Public Communication, Olusola Ajala, described the radio as a landmark achievement which would enhance communication and business development in the state.

“I count it a great privilege to be here, before you, today, as a special guest on the auspicious inauguration of the Dr Fish radio, which is the result of a 15year-old vision of the pioneers.”
“As a Governor from another state, I am delighted to see such innovative steps taken to harness the power of the media for positive change in Plateau state. I believe you will agree that this milestone achievement is a testament of resilience and a hope that never burns out.”
“In today’s interconnected world, the role of proper information dissemination and effective communication cannot be underplayed. The radio as an uncharted medium is, thus, necessary to reach even the hinterland for proper social integration and in driving innovative changes.”
“An important mechanism radio niches on to drive change is provision of content that serves the interest of the listener. As highlighted by the visioneers, it is my believe that provision of business-oriented content for the people of plateau will not only improve business outcomes, but will switch the game many businesses that near collapse.”
“While improving productivity may be a focus for the radio, let us not also forget the primary responsibility of the radio which is to constantly bridge the gap through unparalleled and unbias streams of information. Dr, Fish radio must never forget to serve as a platform for local voices and should also endeavour to facilitate local engagement. My word for the team, today, is ‘never loose sight of the people whom you serve’.”
